Buses replace trains between Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley until 8 May

Due to urgent repair work required on platform 3 at Lichfield Trent Valley, trains are unable to run between Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley in both directions.

Disruption will continue until Network Rail have completed the repairs, which is expected to be the end of the day on Sunday 8 May.

West Midlands Railway will be running a regular shuttle bus between Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley for the duration of the disruption.

West Midlands Railway customers may also use their tickets on London Northwestern Railway services between Birmingham New Street and Stafford to connect with trains to Lichfield Trent Valley.

Customers are advised to allow additional time for their journeys and check the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner before they travel.
