Press release -

Passengers given chance to quiz West Midlands Railway in Wolverhampton

Passengers in Wolverhampton will be able to speak to managers from West Midlands Railway (WMR) at a special drop-in event in the city next week.

The session will take place on the concourse at Wolverhampton station from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Tuesday 7 December as part of the operator’s ‘Whistle Stop Tour’.

Managers will be on hand to answer questions about WMR services, listen to feedback from passengers and given advice and information ahead of timetable changes on December 12 and the busy Christmas period.

Jonny Wiseman, customer experience director for WMR, said:

“Over recent months we have seen more and more people using the railway again and it has been a privilege to welcome passengers back to our fantastic new station facilities at Wolverhampton.

"On some routes we are continuing to feel the knock-on impact of the pandemic on our driver training programmes and events like this are a great chance for us to meet passengers face-to-face, answer questions and explain how we are tackling these challenges and encouraging people back to the railway."
