Trains on the Cross City line between Birmingham New Street and Redditch / Bromsgrove are expected to be disrupted until the end of today (14 Aug) due to a fallen tree on the line near University station.
West Midlands Railway has launched a personal travel planning pilot scheme in Bromsgrove, aimed at helping passengers make the most of the new services on offer. For the next few weeks, trained advisers will be available at Bromsgrove station and on Cross City line trains to and from Birmingham New Street.

Commuters at Bromsgrove station will have up to three additional trains per hour to Birmingham from next week, as electrification work on the line is completed. From Sunday 29 July, West Midlands Railway services on the Cross City line that currently start and terminate at Longbridge will operate to and from Bromsgrove.
