Volunteers over the age of 65 are being encouraged to sign-up to a trial of a new personalised travel assistant, provided by West Midlands Trains and Viaqqio. Ask-Annie is a journey planning service aimed specifically the over 65s, providing tailored itineraries across all modes of public transport.
Commuters at Bromsgrove station will have up to three additional trains per hour to Birmingham from next week, as electrification work on the line is completed. From Sunday 29 July, West Midlands Railway services on the Cross City line that currently start and terminate at Longbridge will operate to and from Bromsgrove.

A scheme to reduce anti-social behaviour on late night train services through Northampton will be launched later this month. From Friday 27 July, there will be a ‘no alcohol’ policy on all trains passing through the station after 9pm.
