Commuters passing through Milton Keynes station will be welcomed by some special festive performances over the next two weeks. The station will be welcoming a range of local choirs onto the concourse on the run up to Christmas, to entertain passengers and help raise funds for important local causes.
Santa’s festive train will be making it's way along the Abbey Line again this December, taking passengers to and from a special Grotto. On Sunday 9 December, between 1300 and 1600, passengers can get off the train at Bricket Wood and follow a short walk to St Stephen Parish Centre.
London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway are advising passengers to plan ahead and check before they travel this Christmas. Amended timetables will be in place from Monday 24 December until Tuesday 1 January, with a reduced service on some routes. As part of an open day being held at Kidderminster Station today (Tuesday 6 November), a new artist's impression on how the station will look as been revealed by Worcestershire County Council and partners. The new image shows the improved forecourt and Comberton Hill layouts and also shows how the new glazed, station building will look once completed.
