No services between Great Malvern and Hereford due to flooding

Passengers are being urged not to travel between Great Malvern and Hereford this evening (Wednesday 23 December) due to flooding. Trains are unable to operate along the route, and road access between Great Malvern, Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford is also restricted due to flooding, so rail replacement buses are unable to operate.

​West Midlands Railway will be putting on additional train services this Sunday (9 June) for visitors to the annual Cosford Air Show. It comes just weeks after the train operator introduced hourly Sunday train services on the route between Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

The first test run of a Class 172/0 has been successfully completed between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton. On Sunday 28 April, the four carriage train, made up of two units cascaded from London Overground, made it’s first through journey between the two stations.

First Class 230 begins passenger services between Bletchley and Bedford

The first Class 230 D Train has entered passenger service on the Marston Vale line this morning (Tuesday 23 April). Unit 230004 is now in service on the route between Bletchley and Bedford. The train, which has been developed by Vivarail, will provide extra capacity and improved customer experience for passengers on the line.
