25% discount on train travel for students

London Northwestern Railway is offering a 25% discount for students travelling to school or college by train.

A special term-time season ticket is being offered by the train operator to and from selected stations on the London Northwestern Railway network*.

The Student Season Ticket aims to make train travel a more affordable option for families and to encourage young people to consider a range of options for travelling to study.

Jonny Wiseman, customer experience director for London Northwestern Railway, said: “Travelling to school or college by train can be a fantastic choice for many. The Student Season Ticket offers the flexibility of a traditional season ticket, but at a price that reflects travel during the school and college terms.

“With timetable improvements being introduced from May, and further investment into rail services planned over the next few years – it’s a great time to encourage young people to use train services to travel for their studies.”

The tickets will be available to purchase online and may also be available through some schools and colleges.
