London Northwestern Railway urges London Euston passengers to check journeys ahead of evening engineering work

Press release   •   Jun 02, 2020 14:00 BST

Passengers travelling to and from London Euston on Thursday (June 4) are being urged to check their journeys ahead of essential overnight engineering works.

With fewer passengers travelling on the railway, Network Rail is taking advantage of the quieter period to upgrade overhead power lines on the approach to Euston.

London Northwestern Railway is advising its customers not to travel to or from the station after 9pm  on Thursday as no trains will be running. Services to and from Euston before 8am on Friday 5 June may be subject to alteration and passengers are advised to check their journeys carefully.

The operator is also reminding passengers not to use the trains at all unless their journey is essential and no other travel option is available to them. Those who do travel are asked to buy tickets online, allow extra time and wear a face covering while on board.
